Wire transfers are a convenient way to transfer funds to or from another financial institution.

To initiate a wire, stop by your local branch.
United Community Bank accepts wires during local branch lobby hours.


 
+ Receiving a Domestic Wire Transfer

Provide the originating financial institution with the following wire information:
Wire funds to: United Community Bank

Allow 24 hours for a domestic wire transfer to credit to an account.

+ Sending a Domestic Wire Transfer

Provide United Community Bank with the following wire information:
Wire funds to: The receiving financial institution’s name
Routing ABA number: routing and transit number of receiving financial institution
Address: address of receiving financial institution
For Credit to: Name and account number of receiving party

+ Receiving an International Wire Transfer

Provide the originating financial institution with the following wire information:
Wire funds to Intermediary Bank:
Wells Fargo Bank Intl

Further Credit to Beneficiary Bank: United Community Bank
Beneficiary Bank Routing/ABA: 061112843
For Further Credit to Beneficiary: Customer’s Name and Account Number
Allow Up to 7 days for an international wire transfer to credit to an account.
 
Please contact your local branch for specific instructions on wires being remitted from a foreign currency account. Currency conversion rates and country codes may apply.
 
International Incoming Wire Fee - $12


 
+ Sending an International Wire Transfer

Provide United Community Bank with the following wire information:
Wire funds to: The receiving financial institution’s name
Swift Code: The Swift code (sometimes called BIC code) for foreign financial institution
For Credit to: Name and account number of receiving party.
 
For wires being converted to a foreign currency some additional information may be required to remit funds. Please contact your local branch for additional information.
 
International Outgoing Wire Fee - $50


 

We will only accept or send wires for customers of United Community Bank. Wires payable upon proper ID are not accepted.
 
We currently do not charge an investigation fee to research or amend details on a wire.
