Lynn Harton serves as the chief executive officer of United Community Bank. Harton has more than thirty years of experience in the banking industry, with expertise in commercial banking, risk management, turnarounds and change management.
Prior to joining United in 2012, Harton was a consultant and special assistant to the chief executive officer and executive vice president of Commercial Banking for TD Bank Financial Group.
Prior to TD Bank, Harton held the positions of president and chief executive officer, head of commercial banking and head of credit and risk at The South Financial Group (which was sold to TD Bank). He also held various executive positions at Regions Financial Corporation, Union Planters Corporation and BB&T.
Harton earned his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and has participated in various executive programs at Duke University, Wharton, Columbia, Northwestern, the University of North Carolina and the University of South Carolina.
Harton and his wife, Flavia, live in Greenville, South Carolina. He currently serves as a director of RMA (The Risk Management Association), as well as a board member for The Greenville County Museum Association and The Peace Center for the Performing Arts. Harton and Flavia are active in the Greenville community and serve on several boards and organizations.

Jefferson Harralson

Jefferson Harralson serves as chief financial officer of United Community Bank. Harralson brings more than twenty-five years of experience in the financial services industry to his role where he is responsible for managing and directing all accounting, financial and reporting activities of the bank. He is also responsible for mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, treasury, capital and strategic planning, budgets and forecasts.
Prior to joining United in 2017, Harralson was a managing director for Keefe, Bruyette and Woods. At KBW, Harralson was charged with rebuilding the firm’s Southeastern Bank Research effort after the events of September 11, 2001. He led KBW’s small and midsized bank research team and before his departure, he was associate director of research for the entire firm.
Harralson received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington & Lee University and his master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University. He is a native of Kentucky.

Rob Edwards

Rob Edwards serves as the chief credit officer for United Community Bank. Edwards has more than twenty-five years of experience in the financial industry. As chief credit officer, he is responsible for oversight of the credit culture and delivering solid credit performance for United Community Bank.
Prior to joining United in 2016, Edwards was executive credit officer over Credit Policy and Risk Reporting and Analytics at TD Bank N.A. He also served as chief credit officer at The South Financial Group.
Edwards earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. He is a member of the Nazarene Theological Seminary board and lives with his wife and children in Simpsonville, SC.

Brad Miller

Brad Miller serves as general counsel and chief risk officer for United Community Bank. Miller brings more than twenty years of experience to his role with United where he is responsible for the company’s legal affairs and all facets of its enterprise risk management.
Prior to joining United in 2007, Miller was a litigation attorney with Kilpatrick Townsend with a focus in consumer and regulatory matters.
Miller earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and J.D. from John Marshall Law School. He is the vice chairman of the bank counsel section of the Georgia Bankers Association, a member of the Regional Bank Counsel Group of the American Banker Association and serves on the boards of various community organizations.

Bill Gilbert

Bill Gilbert is president of community banking for United Community Bank. Gilbert has more than forty years of experience in the financial industry and is currently responsible for the 30 community banks and 156 offices across the Southeast.
Prior to his current position, Gilbert has served in many roles with United Community Bank including head of retail banking, regional president and director of community banking.
Gilbert is a past chairman of the Georgia Board of Natural Resources, where he served on the board for many years.

Rich Bradshaw

Richard Bradshaw serves as chief banking officer for United Community Bank. In this role, he oversees all 149 branch locations across the four-state footprint and manages the bank’s diverse commercial lines of business, including middle market, asset-based lending, income property, senior care, SBA, capital markets, equipment lending and builder finance.
Bradshaw brings more than 25 years of banking industry experience to his role at United Community Bank. Prior to this position, he served as the head of U.S. SBA Programs at TD Bank and led the bank to become the 8th largest SBA lender in the U.S. Bradshaw also developed a successful SBA lending unit at Carolina First before it was acquired by TD Bank.
He previously served as president at UPS Capital Business Credit in Atlanta, GA, where he was responsible for sales and marketing, for asset-based lending, equipment leasing, SBA and insurance.
Bradshaw is a member of the board of directors and executive committee for NAGGL (National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders) and currently co-chairs NAGGL’s Public Policy Committee. In 2013, Bradshaw received the organization’s annual Distinguished Service Award.
Bradshaw is a retired commander from the U.S. Naval Reserve Intelligence Program and served five years of active duty as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Management and holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
Bradshaw and his wife, Stacey, live in Greenville, SC, and have three adult children and two grandchildren. He is the president of the board of directors for the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. He has previously served as president of the board of directors for Greenville Literacy Association.
