Mitch Ralston Elevated to New Leadership Role for United Community Bank in Hall County

United Community Bank is proud to announce Mitch Ralston has been named Commercial Lending Division Manager within the bank’s Hall County team. In this new role, Ralston will lead efforts to continue to service and grow commercial loan and deposit relationships for the bank in Hall County.

“We wanted to continue to build on the strengths of our team for the benefit of our customers in this area, and that is what we’ve done by elevating Mitch to this position,” said Jack Keener, State President of North Georgia and Tennessee for United Community Bank. “He knows the ins and outs of this market and holds close ties to the community. He is one of the best on our team and we trust that his knowledge and expertise will prove beneficial for our customers in Hall County.”

Ralston has more than three decades of banking experience. He began his career with First National Bank of Gainesville where he worked in all departments before settling into the Consumer Lending Division. Ralston then spent more than 15 years in various branch management positions at First National Bank/Regions Bank before joining United. He was promoted to President of White County for United Community Bank in 2011.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed growing my banking career with United Community Bank and am excited to venture into this new role,” said Ralston. “We take pride in being known as ‘The Bank That Service Built’ and doing whatever is necessary to take excellent care of our customers. I look forward to continuing to serve Hall County with the help of this great bank.”

Ralston was born and raised in Gainesville. He currently serves on the board of the Greater Hall FCA and as a member of the Board of Visitors for Truett McConnell University. He is a past President of the White County Rotary Club. Ralston has also served as a past President of both the Gainesville and Cleveland Kiwanis Clubs. He has been a Kiwanian for 32 years and has been a member of both organizations.

Ralston earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Clemson University in South Carolina. He and his wife Lisa have four children – Reeves, Spencer, Anna-Mitchell and Brigham.
