What can be disputed?

Our team can help you dispute an unauthorized transaction from your debit card, POS system, Zelle®, ACH, ATM, or external transfers. You may be able to dispute a transaction if:

  • You did not authorize it (fraud or suspicious activity)
  • You were charged more than expected
  • You were charged more than once for the same purchase
  • You did not receive a product or service that you paid for
  • The item or service was not as described
  • You canceled a subscription but were still charged

Please be aware that our teams cannot take any action on an unauthorized transaction until the transaction posts. If the transaction is still pending, it cannot yet be disputed.

What cannot be disputed?

Some transactions are not eligible for dispute, including:

  • You gave someone permission to use your card, even if they spent more than expected
  • Buyer’s remorse (you changed your mind after your purchase)
  • You forgot about the purchase or didn’t recognize the merchant name

If you authorized the transaction, it typically cannot be disputed—even if the outcome wasn’t what you expected.
