Since its debut in 2011, United Community Bank Ice on Main has been one of the most cherished holiday traditions in Upstate South Carolina. Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, the event provides a space for residents, guests and out-of-town travelers to connect with one another and their loved ones while enjoying the magic of the holiday season.

Whether skating laps around the open-air ice rink, sipping hot chocolate or posing for pictures with friends and family, United Community Bank Ice on Main has something for everyone to enjoy. The rink has hosted more than 115,000 skaters since inception, all made possible through community partnerships and admission tickets.

Discount nights are hosted throughout the season, including BOGO Mondays, half-price Wednesdays and Skate for Stem Thursdays. Every Tuesday, visitors can also ‘Skate United’ for only $5. In addition to enjoying the festivities, attendees are also invited to purchase gloves and socks at the rink, the proceeds of which are donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity of the Carolinas.

For the past seven consecutive years, we have proudly served as the title sponsor of the beloved event. This past season, we were honored to be recognized by the International Festivals and Events Association with a Gold Pinnacle Award for our efforts with United Community Bank Ice on Main. Pinnacle Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments produced by festivals and events around the world, and the Gold Pinnacle is the highest honor.
