United Community Bank is proud to announce a new Atlanta-based addition to its growing Middle Market division. Jack Morris, a 20-year veteran of the Atlanta banking community, has joined the United team as Senior Vice President, Middle Market Relationship Manager. With a significant presence in Atlanta and North Georgia, the bank hopes to connect with more middle-market businesses in those areas.

“We are thrilled to add a strong Atlanta-based banker like Jack to our team,” said John Thompson, the bank’s Middle Market Division Manager. “He has a wealth of experience and comes to us at a critical time when clients need more attention and care than ever. We are confident that his knowledge of the middle-market segment and history of cultivating lasting relationships with clients will be invaluable to our growth strategy.”

He comes to United from Fifth Third Bank in Atlanta where he served as SVP/Relationship Manager for the Georgia Upper Middle Market Banking Office. The majority of his career has focused on commercial and middle market banking.

“I am excited to join the top-tier team at United Community Bank and continue to build on their success,” said Morris. “Through its size and diverse portfolio of products, the bank has a unique advantage that allows it to deliver tremendous solutions to business owners in the middle market. I look forward to collaborating with teams across our footprint to further support the goals of our clients.”
