United Community Bank welcomes Robert Billue as West Atlanta President

Billue comes to United Community Bank with nearly 22 years of experience in the commercial banking industry. He had a successful 15-year career with Synovus Bank, most recently serving as a community executive in West Georgia where he led the commercial banking team for Douglas and Carroll counties. Additionally, he has also worked at Regions Bank and SunTrust.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join such a well-respected team and excited to continue my career in the communities where I’ve lived and worked for many years,” said Billue. “The bank has been steadily growing across Atlanta and I look forward to working with my new colleagues, building new client relationships and helping United Community Bank continue to expand in these areas.”
Billue graduated from the University of Tennessee. He resides in Douglasville with his wife Laura and in his free time, he enjoys spending time at his family farm and trout stream in Ellijay.
