Betsy Kelly

Raised in Gilmer County, Betsy Kelly joined United Community Bank years ago to be part of a banking family that truly cares for its customers. With over 28 years of banking experience, her goal is to provide personal and friendly service while offering competitive rates and products. Betsy began her career as a part-time teller and has worked through every department in the banking industry. Betsy enjoys getting to know customers, hearing their stories, and learning what brought them to Gilmer County. She is passionate about serving customers and helping them achieve homeownership. She has earned the respect of the builders and realtors in our community through her knowledge, determination, kindness, creativity, going the extra mile, being available 24/7, and thinking outside the box to get the more challenging loans to the closing table. She is a member of East Ellijay Baptist Church, where her husband is a pastor. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her church, cooking her famous prime rib and fruit pizza, skiing black diamonds and hiking 14er’s in Colorado. Most of all, Betsy enjoys spending time with her four grandbabies.
