Mikell Richards

Mikell Richards is a native of Hampton, South Carolina, and a graduate of Clemson University. With almost 30 years of mortgage industry experience, Mikell leads a team of United mortgage professionals, in addition to his commitment to helping his clients reach their dreams of homeownership. Mikell understands this is one of the most important purchases his clients have in their lifetime and is passionate about helping them achieve their financial goals as he applies strategic thinking to customize a loan that fits their lifestyle. Outside of his role with United, Mikell is actively involved with the St. Andrews Rotary Club, Charleston Parks Conservancy and Charleston Area Mortgage Lenders Association. He is also a volunteer for Engaging Creative Minds, an organization committed to creative and innovative learning opportunities for local students. In Mikell’s free time, you can find him golfing, hunting, fishing or spending time with his wife, Mary, and their three children.
