Neal Johnson has been a resident of Brevard County for many years, moving there as a young child when his family was relocated by the United States Air Force. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, his father and the rest of the family decided to remain in Florida and make Brevard County their permanent home.
Neal started his career in the banking industry in the late 1970s and worked his way through many levels, including collections, indirect lending, branch lending, and regional leadership. In 2002, he made the switch to residential lending, where he continues to serve today.
Neal enjoys working with local referral sources and individuals, assisting them in acquiring or refinancing their homes. This is likely the largest purchase most people will make in their lives.
Additionally, Neal has been very involved in the Brevard community, having served in leadership roles with the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, Space Coast (formerly Melbourne Regional) Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Brevard, AMIkids Space Coast, and the Space Coast Builders Association. He will serve as Chair of the Board for the Builders Association in 2027 and 2028. He also serves on the board of the Florida Association of Home Builders.
Neal was drawn to United Community because of its strong commercial and branch presence in the local market, as well as its commitment to being actively involved in local community organizations. He looks forward to enhancing and building upon that commitment.
