Steve Goins

With more than 35 years of experience in financial services, Steve brings a broad perspective and deep understanding of lending and banking to his role as a Mortgage Loan Originator with United Community Bank. Since beginning his career in 1991, he has worked in consumer lending, credit, retail banking, commercial lending, and many other areas of financial services. 

Along the way, Steve found his home in mortgage lending. For him, it is more than just a job. It is an opportunity to help borrowers purchase, renovate, or refinance what may be the largest asset they will ever own. He especially enjoys helping first-time homebuyers navigate the process and experiencing the excitement of their first closing. There is nothing quite like seeing the look on a first-time homebuyer's face when they receive the keys to their new home. That is why he does what he does.
