United Community Bank offers a courtesy overdraft service for qualified accounts.  This may help you avoid an uncomfortable situation as well as avoid added fees such as returned merchant checks and late fees.1 The only time you pay for the service is if you use it.

In addition to this service, which covers transactions such as checks and ACH debits, you may opt in for overdraft coverage for your ATM/debit card transactions.
