United Community Bank Names Ron L. Fox as Chief Compliance Officer

Fox is a veteran of the financial services industry, with more than 20 years of experience in both consumer banking and as a regulator. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at USAA Federal Savings Bank in San Antonio, Texas. Earlier in his career, Fox conducted examinations at all bank levels as a Large Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in Virginia and as a Commissioned Community Bank Examiner with the FDIC.

Fox is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in combat operations in Desert Storm and Shield where he received numerous awards for his performance and leadership skills. Fox received his Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from Arizona State University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.
