Russell Carmichael brings a wealth of mortgage experience to United Community. He has worked for large banks, smaller banks, and a credit union and feels community banks offer the best balance of having stellar resources while still providing the best levels of customer service. Russell grew up in the Auburn/Opelika area of Alabama, lived in the Montgomery area for the past 15 years, and now resides in North Alabama. Outside of work, you’ll find him spending time with his family, including attending Alabama athletic events with his son. Russell also enjoys doing just about anything outdoors.
He is also very active in his church, which provides a lot of opportunity to get out and serve the local community, specifically through storm clean-ups. Russell has also worked closely with the youth in the church, which has been both fun and rewarding.
